Stripped back to basics and using old tools these paintings are a mid point between absolute chaos and controlled design.
The calling card is a hark back to simpler times and personalized interactions.
The following are a series of paintings completed in Beijing shortly after arrival. They speak of trying to understand a culture in change, and being an outsider within.
