hand developed cyanotypes created over a period of three months (2020) utilising natural light in the beijing hutongs. all works on archival paper.
collage
hand cut analogue collages from various media including vintage magazine images. 2012 - ongoing

images painted using the edge of business cards.
plato's cave
hand cut brass images and paraphenalia mounted on rotating turntables. silhouettes projected onto walls via low energy LED.
glory, splendour, wealth and rank
off-set hand cut brass components attached to high speed rotating motors, which, when activated create characters and idioms (process due to natural image residue in human eyesight)
i left you a flower
interactive suitcase which glows as the surrounding atmosphere dims.
walkway
9 large monitors, each randomly scrolling through a series of words within set gramatical parameters. the combined total of sentences and phrases capable of being produced exceeds 8 billion (enough for one unique combination for every living person on earth). the total time for all combinations to scroll through exceeds 140 years (greater then the life expectancy of humans). the entirity of the project cannot be seen by any one person.
21 dreams
a time lapse image of instalation. visitors were given a small hand held blue light, enabling them to explore the darkened space. the reflections disrupting senses.. is it underwater or a dream? On the far wall a pillow attached to the wall discretely conceals an audio speaker from which is emited a faint recording of alternating translations in 7 languages (chinese, english, french, italian, vietnamese, thai and russian) of dreams recorded by the participating artists.
little robots
silicon cast digits combined with electrical components from childrens toys create a disconcerting concert. created as video clip to accompany song release. Beijing 2018

celestial bodies
an ongoing photographic series collecting images of moles and skin anolmalies which are then overlaid onto the celestial starmap. new constelations created in the process.
pinhole photography
a 7 minute exposure pinhole photo direct oilform photographic paper utilising a coffee tin as a casing. Image (2020) of Kasbegi mountain in Georgia after 15 kilometre hike to site.

National Gallery Acquisition 2007
an instalation at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra. protesting the budget and expenditure on australian sculpture in contrast to international artist aquisitional spending.
the QR project
Curation of a project involving the original members of the 8 collective. each artist was assigned 3 QR codes; one linked to their bio, one linked to an artwork and a third linked to a self portrait. visitors were entitled to scan three randomly selected QR codes form the collection and from the collated information formed their own associations regarding the links - possibilities existed for one artist's bio to be crossed with another's artwork etc, creating many interpretative combinations.
